David Beckham visits Nepal
I was never fond of stickers. However, my friend Kaveit was a real cartoon lover. He would buy every single sticker that entered the market and then he'd also buy stickers of David Beckham and . share me some so I'd paste in my diary. I remember how great fan we were back in our school days that the stars flowed more faster than the blood in our veins.
How lucky, he has been for everything what he is today, a Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF along with famous football player and a model too. He's indeed an inspiration to many and a reason to smile for all.
David Beckham, there's none who wouldn't know him, I guess. The popular footballer who played for England National Team, Manchester United, Real Madrid and so on is a hearthrob to many and I am certainly not the one to be missed from the category.
Back into the school life , we didn't actually go to library to read books, we went only to check newspapers and magazines if there were any photos of our idols esp. David Beckham. Then we'd tear the newspapers and bring back to paste in our diary where we'd collect innumerable photos of the one we adored. Somehow there was little competition among boys who would collect as many as possible.

OK, let me share you once what had happened at the library room. I entered in the library room in a short period alone because Wimbledon Open was running at that time. Then, I flipped through the newspapers and suddenly beautiful photos of Maria Sharapova, my favourite female tennis player caught my eyes and I completely devoured my eyes for few seconds on the girl clad incredibly in a white dress. I couldn't help but immediately tear that photo.
Unfortunately, what could have been the worst,in the room full of silence, the sound of the tearing of paper echoed the whole hall-charayak. My Librarian with no delay stared greedily upon me, I turned red to blue, full of fear collecting all my guts to ask for sorry.
But then he wasn't that mean, he asked which I wanted so that he would cut finely by scissors instead of letting me tear haphazardly. Oh f***, I felt like I was in cloud nine and soon collected the photos.
Back to the topic, few days back I was surfing the net and came to know Beckham would be coming to Nepal for a shoot of a documentary. After reading that my soul nearly left my body wondering if I could also meet, No at least take a glimpse upon his sporty body and arms and hands inked with Devanagiri script too. But as I read I came to know that he'd play football with the local kids somewhere in the himalayan trails at the north. Still, I was over the moon to know that the living legend was soon to come at Nepal and not India or any other countries.
After few days I told my friend Kaveit,"Hey, Beckham is coming to Nepal." He replied. "Oh, Shut up , this must be a lie. You must have read a false news." And I avoided him since he barely read the news and had deactivated his facebook account. Also why he wouldn't because, it was like once in a lifetime that the biggest superstar was about to visit one of the smallest country. Then I tweeted in my twitter account, " These days, nachahido news yeti failinchha ki sacho real news bhanda ni pattaunai chhadisake."
which meant useless news got spread more that people gave up believing the real news. The condition of the country is deteriorating and so is the standard of media.
Then one fine morning at my office premises, I scrolled my facebook home page along with the sip of tea. Lord, my heart stopped to pound to see that Beckham had already landed to Nepal and reached Bhaktapur to play with kids. The following 3 days flooded with his photos only topping from the cover page of all National Dailies to display picture of people's profile of social networking sites.
I literally felt too sad to know that I could do nothing than stare at photos which I had been doing from long. Even Kathmandu felt like overseas ,Unreachable. Several thoughts ran into my mind that people at the airport might have taken the photos . But later I read that he had come on his own jet. God! Did he own his own jet? Omg, is he the Christian Grey we knew and wondered each time from the 50 Shades of Grey?

Above all I felt happy for he came to my country which has mourned due to losses of lives of thousands
leaving many injured followed by political instabilities, strikes and crisis due to blockades at borders.

Nepal topped it again. I pray for the quick revival of the country from all the losses and many people from all around the globe come to visit Naturally Nepal, it's virgin beauty that are sure to leave everyone spellbound.
